swallow seen by young, broke bloke
made him sell his only cloak

as in Aesop’s famous myth

naked, but the Spring came with

swallow, alone you made a Spring

and despite your suffering

stemming from the wills of each
fleeing as tears I can’t reach

swallow strong, swallow frail
come and nest in this dark jail

blind worship is thereof

this now aged debtor’s Love
